Description:

R407 is a pearlitic heat-resistant steel electrode containing 2.5%Cr-1%Mo of low-hydrogen sodium type drug. It can be fully welded by DC reverse connection. The weldment should be preheated to 200~300°C before welding..

Main application areas:

Welding Cr2.5Mo pearlitic heat-resistant steel structure, such as high temperature and high pressure pipelines with working temperature below 550 °C, synthetic chemical machinery, petroleum cracking equipment, etc.

Precautions

● The electrode before welding shall be baked for about 1 hour at 250℃;

● Large workpieces should be properly preheated to about 300°C, and the rust and oil on the surface of the surfacing part should be removed.
