Description:

E2209-16 is an ultra-low carbon nitrogen-containing dual-phase stainless steel electrode with titanium-calcium type coating. It has both AC and DC welding. The welding process has good performance. Because of its extremely low carbon content and containing molybdenum and nitrogen, the deposited metal has good properties. Crack resistance and corrosion resistance, especially stress corrosion resistance are outstanding.

Main application areas:

It is mainly used for welding of the same type of ultra-low carbon stainless steel materials in the petrochemical and hydraulic industries, such as the welding of 022Cr22Ni5MoN duplex stainless steel.

● Good welding process performance

● The surface after welding is bright white and the color is beautiful.

Precautions

● The electrode before welding shall be baked at 150°C for 1h;

● Use DC power as much as possible, and the current should not be too large to avoid redness of the electrode;
