Description:

YD102 is a common manganese type surfacing electrode for titanium-calcium type coating. It can be used for both AC and DC. The arc is stable and easy to remove slag during surfacing.

Main application areas:

Used for surfacing or repairing surfaces of low carbon, medium carbon and low alloy steel wear parts such as axles, gears and mixer blades.

Surfacing layer hardness:

HB ≥ 220.

● Good weld overlay hardness, no cracks after welding

Reference specification (DC+)

Precautions

● The electrode before welding shall be baked for about 1 hour at 250 °C;

● Large workpieces should be properly preheated to about 300 °C, and the rust and oil on the surface of the surfacing part should be removed.
