Description:

  ER316LSi is an ultra-low carbon 19Cr12Ni2Mo stainless steel gas shielded welding wire. Because it contains Mo, it has excellent corrosion resistance to acetic acid, sulfurous acid, phosphoric acid and salt. Due to the addition of Si, molten iron has good fluidity, so the molding is more beautiful and less splashing. Can be welded at all positions.

Main application areas:

     It is often used in the welding of petrochemical and fertilizer equipment, such as 022Cr17Ni12Mo2 (SUS 316L) .

Precautions

● DC reverse connection during welding ;

● When welding, the flow rate of CO2 or 75%~80% Ar+CO2 gas should be 20~25L/min ;

● The dry elongation of the wire should be controlled within the range of 15~25mm ;

● The temperature between the channels is controlled between 135 and 165 degrees.   ;

● Impurities such as rust, oil and moisture must be removed from the weldment before welding.
