Description:

ER2594 is a 25Cr9Ni4MoN austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steel gas shielded welding wire. The deposited metal has the comprehensive properties of austenitic stainless steel and the stress corrosion resistance of ferritic stainless steel. It has strong pitting resistance and good welding operation performance. The arc is stable, the appearance is beautiful, the spatter is less, and the whole position can be welded.

Main application areas:

Used in petrochemical, shipbuilding and other industries, such as welding 2507.

● Good welding process performance

● The surface after welding is bright white and the color is beautiful.

Precautions

● DC reverse connection during welding;

● When welding, the flow rate of CO2 or 75%~80% Ar+CO2 gas should be 20~25L/min;

● The dry elongation of the wire should be controlled within the range of 15~25mm;

● The temperature between the channels is controlled between 135 and 165 degrees. 

● Impurities such as rust,oil and moisture must be removed from the weldment before welding.
