Product description

Description:

E316-16 is a low-carbon Cr18Ni12Mo2 stainless steel electrode with titanium-calcium type coating. It can be used for both AC and DC. It has good operation performance. It has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance and crack resistance due to the addition of molybdenum to the deposited metal, especially against chlorine. Ion pitting is good.

Main application areas:

Used for welding 06Cr17Ni12Mo2 stainless steel or dissimilar steel welding in organic and inorganic acid (non-chlorinated acid) media.

● Good welding process performance

● The surface after welding is bright white and the color is beautiful.

Precautions

● The electrode before welding shall be baked at 150°C for 1h;

● Use DC power as much as possible, and the current should not be too large to avoid redness of the electrode;
