Description:

  CHA E316L-16 is an ultra-low carbon Cr18Ni12Mo2 stainless steel electrode with titanium-calcium type coating. It has both AC and DC functions and good operation performance. The deposited metal has a carbon content of 0.04% and has good heat resistance, corrosion resistance and crack resistance. 

Main application areas:

  It is used for welding urea, synthetic fiber and other equipment and the same type of stainless steel structure. It can also be used for chromium stainless steel and composite steel and dissimilar steel which cannot be heat treated after welding.

● Good welding process performance

● The surface after welding is bright white and the color is beautiful.

Precautions

● The electrode before welding shall be baked at 150°C for 1h;

● Use DC power as much as possible, and the current should not be too large to avoid redness of the electrode;
