Product description

Description:

T107 is a pure copper electrode with pure copper as the core and low hydrogen sodium type coating. It adopts DC reverse connection, has good mechanical properties, and has good corrosion resistance to the atmosphere and seawater. It is not suitable for welding oxygen-containing copper and electrolytic copper.

Main application areas:

It is mainly used for welding copper components such as conductive copper bars, copper heat exchangers, and seawater pipes for ships. It can also be used for surfacing welding of seawater corrosion resistant carbon steel parts.

Precautions

● Before welding, the electrode needs to be baked at about 200°C for 1 hour. The moisture, oil, oxide and other impurities on the surface of the weldment must be removed.

● Due to the thermal conductivity of copper, the preheating temperature of the soldered base material is generally high, usually above 500°C, and the welding current should be preheated with the base metal.
