Description:
T207 is a copper bronze electrode with a silicon bronze core and a low hydrogen sodium type coating. Good mechanical properties, good chemical resistance to inorganic acids other than nitric acid, most organic acids and seawater.
Main application areas:
Used for welding of copper, silicon bronze and brass, and welding of chemical machinery pipes.

Precautions |

● Before welding, the electrode needs to be baked at about 200°C for 1 hour. The moisture, oil, oxide and other impurities on the surface of the weldment must be removed.
● Due to the thermal conductivity of copper, the preheating temperature of the soldered base material is generally high, usually above 500°C, and the welding current should be preheated with the base metal. |
