Description:

T307 is a copper-nickel 30 alloy with copper 70 nickel alloy as the core, and a copper-nickel alloy electrode with low hydrogen sodium type coating. It adopts DC reverse connection, and the arc is stable and the weld is well formed.

Main application areas:

Used for welding 70-30 copper-nickel alloy or 70-30 copper-nickel alloy and 645 steel composite metal, also used for welding conductive copper platoon, copper heat exchanger, condenser, seawater corrosion resistant conduit for ship nuclear container, etc. Surfacing of seawater-resistant carbon steel parts and welding of nickel-base alloys with corrosion resistance requirements.

Precautions

● Before welding, the electrode needs to be baked at about 200°C for 1 hour. The moisture, oil, oxide and other impurities on the surface of the weldment must be removed.

● Due to the thermal conductivity of copper, the preheating temperature of the soldered base material is generally high, usually above 500°C, and the welding current should be preheated with the base metal.
