Description:

ER4047 is an aluminum-silicon eutectic alloy wire with the same welding performance and weld characteristics as HS ER4043. Can also be used as a solder.

Main application areas:

Suitable for welding of cast aluminum, 2000 series and aluminum-magnesium-silicon series aluminum alloy.

Precautions

● Before welding, the impurities such as oxide film and oil stain on the welding edge of the workpiece and the surface of the wire should be strictly removed to avoid the fusion of the weld and cause defects such as pores and slag inclusions.

● In order to ensure penetration and no collapse, a pad can be used to hold the molten metal during welding.

●Aluminum gas welding flux must be used together with oxyacetylene gas welding.
